Limenaria is a seaside town on the southwest side of Thassos. It is an attraction for visitors during the summer season.

One of the most important sights to visit is the majestic "Palataki" that dominates the main rock of Limenaria. In Limenaria you can try some of the most delicious local dishes of the island such as the famous donuts, fresh fish, meat, honey and olive oil. Sailing

In a place famed since ancient times for the maritime skills of its inhabitants, you can find a yacht marina in Skala Potamia and a multitude of good moorings in the vicinity of the coast. Boat rental is available in Skala Potamia beach.

Scuba Diving

The beaches and coves, head-lands and endless reefs, constitute a small paradise for lovers of the deep. Organized diving centers are to be found in many parts of the island.

Cycling
